Open the conversation.

30 minutes. No pitch deck. Senior engineer on the call.

A first call with Veso AI is engineer-led, scope-focused, and ends with a written brief in your inbox the same business day. If your problem is wrong for us, we say so — and refer where we can.

Our approach to first calls

A first conversation is a working session, not a qualifying call.

Most enterprise sales motions wait three calls before an engineer is in the room. We invert that. The partner or principal who would lead delivery is on every first call, and the first 30 minutes are spent scoping the problem honestly — not pitching capabilities.

What the call looks like

Three commitments we make on every first conversation.

30 minutes

Time on the call

Scoped, on the calendar, ends on time. We respect your schedule because we expect the same.

No pitch

Format

An engineer-led working session, not a sales deck. A senior partner or principal is on every first call.

Same day

Written summary

A short brief lands in your inbox the same day — what we understood, what we would scope next, what we would decline.

What happens next

From form submission to written brief, three steps.

  • 01

Senior engineer on every first call.

A practising partner or principal — never an SDR. The person you talk to is the person who would lead delivery if we proceed.

  • 02

If we are not the right fit, we say so.

We turn down ~30% of inbound. We will tell you on the call if your problem is wrong for Veso, and refer where we can.

  • 03

    Written brief, same business day.

After the call, a short note summarises what we heard, what we would scope, what we would not. You decide whether to proceed.

FAQ

Before you reach out — common questions

How quickly will I hear back?

Within one business day for strategy-call requests; one to two business days for general enquiries. If we cannot help, we say so up front rather than dragging out a sales process.

What should I bring to the call?

A rough sense of the problem and the constraint that matters most — budget, deadline, regulatory posture, or technical risk. No deck or pre-read required. We will ask the rest.

Is the conversation confidential?

Yes. Strategy calls are confidential by default. We are happy to sign a mutual NDA before the call if you would prefer that on paper — just mention it in your message.

Do you run paid scoping engagements?

Yes. Once a problem is well-defined, we run a fixed-fee discovery phase that ends with a written brief, architecture sketch, and a quote. Strategy calls are free; structured discovery is not.

What happens if you decline an engagement?

We say so on the call and explain why. Where we can, we refer to a partner firm in our network with closer sector fit. About 30% of inbound conversations end this way and we think that is the correct number.

Do you work outside Australia and New Zealand?

Yes — engagements run across Australia, New Zealand, the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Singapore, and Japan. Delivery is remote-first with time-zone overlap; on-site visits are arranged on request.

Sydney office

Where the engineering team works.

Sydney is our primary delivery hub. Melbourne and Auckland host smaller teams. Remote-first across the rest of the geography — on-site visits are arranged on request.
