FAQ
Working at Veso
Where can I be based?
Engineering roles are remote-first within Australia, with a Sydney hub for hybrid work. For senior roles we consider APAC time zones case-by-case.
What does a Veso engineer's day actually look like?
Deep work in the morning on a single client codebase, a short async standup, a focused afternoon block. Roughly 60% build, 20% client writing and review, 20% research and internal tooling. We protect maker time.
Are equity and compensation transparent?
Yes. Salary bands are published per role on this page. Equity is offered for senior and partner-track roles and explained in writing before you sign: strike price, vesting, dilution assumptions.
What are working hours like?
AU business hours, with flexibility around the edges. We run async by default and reserve sync time for client calls and weekly reviews. No on-call rotation for engineering roles.
